Wow. I am so pleased with the work that was done to my lakefront property. I had a 15 year old bulkhead at the water's edge that I wanted to do something with. It wasn't in terrible shape, but needed some attention. After discussing with Herb, we ended up leaving the old bulkhead, and building out a new bulkhead, with gravel and sand filler between the old and the new. Herb did an excellent job with the auger, going down 3 feet into the lakebed with the footings, making the bulkhead as solid as possible.
Then we added a 5 foot deck out over the water, again with 6x6 footings way down into the lakebed. My neighbor also used Superb Home Improvements to do their bulkhead and a deck at the same time that I did mine. We now have a combined 85 foot and quot;boardwalkand quot; that we just love.. and so do our neighbors. It was built with such care and attention that I am sure this structure will outlast anything that could have been built. Herb and JR were really great to work with and to watch them work. They were careful of our shrubs and plants and cleaned up with care ... as if it was their own property. They really are SUPERB.
